Five steps to find a word on a page by using iOS 9 Safari
If you are looking for an item on webpage by using iOS 9 but doesn’t have enough time to scan the full page, then you need to read this article. There are five steps to access the search options in iOS 9 safari.
1. Open Safari.
2. Visit a website that you want to
3. Tap the Share button (the rectangle with an arrow) to bring up the share sheet.
4. In the action list (bottom row of icons), swipe over if you need to and choose “Find on Page.”
5. In the text bar above the keyboard, type the word or phrase that you’re looking for, then tap Search.
Or you can search for words via the navigation bar – you can use this if you use previous version of iOS. To search in this method, type the word you’re looking for on the navigation bar’s search/URL field, scroll down the page to see “On this Page” heading. Tap on the word, and you will go back to the web page you were just on.
If the word or phrase is present on the page, then it will be highlighted no matter what method you use. If the words you search is not exist, you’ll see a “no matches” message. If the word shows more than once, you can tap the up or down arrows in the search bar to jump between matches on the web page.
